Excuse me but don't I have a right to be forwarned???

Ok here it goes...I am a 40 year old woman who has had 2 major relationships in my life and both have ended badly. I am putting this blog out to just voice my frustrations and get my feelings out so I don't explode. Please note that if you know me or know who I am writing about this is just my side. These are just my feelings.

After 12 years with this guy (I will call him Mike) he decides he is done with the relationship. No warning, no sitting down and saying "Hey we have talked about how I feel about things and I don't feel you are changing so I am leaving", nothing. He just comes over to my house and packs his things while I'm at work. Then when I ask why he is doing it he says, in a text, that he is done. No talking, just texting. I would think that after 12 years he would have the decency to at least talk to me. Sure I would have cried and asked to try and make it work, but I may have not been quite as hurt and feel like I was shoved aside like I was a worn out football.  Now when I try to call or text him I don't even know if he has gotten it because he has blocked me. How can he just walk away if he really loved me for 12 years?
